The entertainment industry has incredible power to sway attitudes and create awareness in diversity, is even more important for people with disabilities (PWDs). As we get closer to launching abilityE, we wanted to reach out to invite anyone you may know to take advantage of this resource to be seen by people in the industry from studio execs to casting directors.

A few possible questions you might have:
• abilityE is free to performers/talent/actors
• The site is built for performers/talent/actors with disABILITIES
• Performers/talent/actors includes categories like TV, Film, comedy and music
• Union, non-union, represented or not represented
• Talent can only be viewed by vetted casting and representative members
• Searchable by authentic capabilities
Our meetings with the entertainment industry diversity leaders has been overwhelmingly positive —Associations: CSA, WGA, Sag-Aftra, Studios; ViacomCBS, NBCUniversal, Paramount Studios and many more, including Easterseals, KMR all have been exciting. One studio exec told us, “there will be a mad rush to use the site when we start auditions”.

Please consider sharing the link by email or on social media. This is an invitation for performers with disABILITIES to build their profiles:

There is more to the site and we will let you know when the pre-launch phase has moved to full launch.

We also have a short promo for abilityE posted on ABILITY Magazine's Instagram, might give you a little more flavor:

Thank you in advance for your part in helping so that no one can say, “We just can’t find actors with disABILITIES.”
